Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the corner of Kawaramachi Garden, in front of the large clock, to begin our night tour of Gion. This unique area is renowned for its typical Japanese lanterns. We will explore the culture and streets of Gion.
We will walk along both the busiest and hidden streets, including the preserved historic Hanamikoji Street. The traditional wooden houses illuminated at night create a captivating atmosphere. We will also visit Yasaka Shrine, an iconic site.
During our tour, we will observe maiko and geikos, the apprentice geishas, and admire their clothing, which is rich in symbolism and colors.
We will conclude our night tour at Sanj? ?hashi Bridge after a duration of approximately 3 hours.
