Gion Night Tour

On this night tour of Gion, we'll explore Kyoto's historic geisha district as night falls.

Description

At the designated time, we'll meet at the corner of Kawaramachi Garden, in front of the big clock, to begin our night tour of Gion, the geisha quarter of Kyoto. This area features typical Japanese lanterns, and we will learn about their inscriptions and cultural significance.

We will walk along both the busy and hidden streets, including the preserved historic Hanamikoji Street, with its traditional wooden houses lit by soft lights. We will also pass by significant sites such as Yasaka Shrine.

Throughout the tour, we may encounter maiko and geikos, the apprentice geishas, and admire the symbolism and colors in their attire.

We will conclude our night tour at Sanj? ?hashi Bridge after 3 hours.
