Explore Kyoto by bike and discover its most iconic monuments while experiencing the city's history.

Tour Details

Meet at exit 2 of Gojo subway station. After adjusting your helmet and checking the bike, the tour will begin. The first stop is the historic streets of Gion, known for its famous geishas in colorful kimonos, often seen on the Tatsumi wooden bridge or Hanamikoji Street.

Next, bike to Nanzen-ji Temple, a significant Zen temple, and cycle along the Philosopher's Walk, a scenic route frequented by philosopher Kitaro Nishida. Following this, visit Ginkaku-ji (Silver Pavilion), which features serene gardens. The tour continues to Shimogamo Shrine, one of Kyoto's oldest Shinto shrines, before concluding at the Imperial Palace, the former residence of the Japanese imperial family.

The tour lasts approximately 4 hours, concluding back at the starting point to return the bikes.
