Unlock the best views of Japan's ancient capital with a ticket to Kyoto Tower, the tallest building in the city and a must-visit for anyone exploring Kyoto!

Why Visit Kyoto Tower?

Kyoto Tower, standing 131 metres (429 feet) tall, offers stunning panoramic views of Kyoto and even extends to Osaka. Completed in 1964, it symbolizes a fusion of tradition and modernity in Japan. Designed by architect Mamoru Yamada in collaboration with Kyoto University, its sail-like structure is engineered to withstand earthquakes and typhoons. With your ticket, explore a facility housing restaurants, souvenir shops, and the Tower Kyoto Hotel, all beneath the observation deck.

The Best Vantage Point in Kyoto

The observation deck at Kyoto Tower is perched 100 metres (328 feet) above the ground, providing unrivalled views of the city. From here, you can spot iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Kiyomizu-dera Temple, T?-ji Temple, and Hongan-ji, along with landmarks like Chion-in Temple and Sanj?sangen-d?. The deck also offers breathtaking views of the Osaka skyline on clear days, making it a prime location for sunset viewing. Telescopes on the observation deck enhance the experience of observing the cityscape.
