Explore Osaka, Japan's Third-Largest City
We will begin our free tour of Osaka in front of the Opa Starbucks building and delve into local culture while comparing various Japanese cities. Our first stop is the Ame-Mura neighborhood, influenced by American culture post-World War II, which impacted the Japanese business landscape.
Next, we will head to the Dotonbori Canal and share stories, including the curse of Colonel Sanders. We will take photos with the Glico sign and the Kuidaore Taro doll.
Following this, we will visit the historic Hozenji Temple, one of the few structures that survived the 1945 bombings. We will discover the Buddha of finance and business, essential to understanding Osaka's spiritual and economic essence.
Our tour will conclude at the Kuromon Market, known for its wagyu beef, fresh sashimi, and crab. Here, we will learn about food preparation and the tradition of Sakai knives.
After 2.5 hours, we will finish our free tour of Osaka near the market.
