Explore Osaka, Japan's Third-Largest City
We'll begin our free tour of Osaka in front of the Opa Starbucks building and explore local culture. Next, we’ll visit the Ame-Mura neighborhood, influenced by American culture post-World War II.
We’ll proceed to the Dotonbori Canal, where we’ll discuss stories such as the curse of Colonel Sanders, take photos with the Glico sign, and see the Kuidaore Taro doll.
Our next stop is Hozenji Temple, with over 383 years of history and one of the few structures to survive the 1945 bombings. We’ll learn about the Buddha of finance and business, essential to Osaka's spiritual and economic landscape.
Our tour concludes at the Kuromon Market, famous for wagyu beef, sashimi, and crab. Here, we’ll discuss artisanal food preparation and the tradition of Sakai knives.
The tour lasts approximately 2.5 hours and ends near the market.
