The best way to enjoy a trip to an exotic place is to immerse yourself in the local culture. In Kyoto, you can wear the famous kimono and feel like a genuine Japanese citizen as you explore the city's streets.

At the Kimono rental shop, you will learn about the difference between the kimono and the yukata, and you can choose the model that suits your style best. The complete pack includes the obi (wide belt), sandals (wooden or leather), socks, tunic, and bag.

Your kimono can be elegant, fun, traditional, or striking, depending on your choice.

Collection point & opening hours

You can pick up your kimono at the Yumeyakata kimono rental shop at the specific time selected during the booking process and drop it off the same day before the store closes. The final return time is 4 pm.

If you pick up your kimono early and return it at closing time, the maximum rental time is 7.5 hours. Later pickups will result in shorter rental times.

Returns after 5:30 pm are not allowed, and the kimono cannot be returned the next day.
