The Oslo sightseeing bus offers a practical way to explore the oldest capital in Scandinavia. You can hop on and off at any of the stops to enjoy the city at your own pace.

The Oslo tourist bus follows a route of 1.5 hours in total with 9 stops near major tourist attractions. The open-top double-decker bus includes English language recorded commentary about the sites.

Some of the essential stops are – the Royal Palace, the Opera House, Akershus Fort, Ibsen Museum, and the Parliament building.

How it works

The ticket is valid for 24 or 48 consecutive hours from the first use. For example, if activated on Monday at 3 pm, it will be valid until Tuesday at 3 pm. During this period, you can get on and off the bus as many times as needed.

When booking, you must select a start day, but you can use the service within 3 months from the selected date.

Timetable and frequency

Red line operates from 10 am to 4:30 pm, every 30 minutes. The total duration of the tour is 90 minutes.
