The tour lasts one hour and a half, covering 9 stops near key tourist attractions. The open-top double-decker bus offers English language recorded commentary throughout the journey.
Key stops include the Royal Palace, the Opera House, Akershus Fort, Ibsen Museum, and the Parliament building.
How it works
The ticket is valid for 24 or 48 consecutive hours starting from its first use. For instance, if activated on Monday at 3 pm, it remains valid until Tuesday at 3 pm, allowing you to get on and off as many times as desired.
When booking, you need to select a start day, but the service can be used within 3 months from the chosen date.
Timetable and frequency
Red line operates from 10 am to 4:30 pm, with departures every 30 minutes. The full tour duration is 90 minutes.
