The Oslo tourist bus operates on a route lasting one hour and a half, with 9 stops near key tourist attractions. Passengers will experience English language recorded commentary throughout the journey on the open-top double-decker bus.

Notable stops include the Royal Palace, the Opera House, Akershus Fort, Ibsen Museum, and the Parliament building.

How it works

The ticket is valid for 24 or 48 consecutive hours starting from its first use. For instance, if activated on Monday at 3 pm, it will remain valid until Tuesday at 3 pm. During this period, you can get on and off the bus as many times as you wish.

While booking, you will be prompted to select a start day, but the service can be initiated within 3 months from the chosen date.

Timetable and frequency

Service on the red line runs from 10 am to 4:30 pm, with departures every 30 minutes. The overall tour duration is 90 minutes.
