Route and stops
The Oslo tourist bus follows a route of one hour and a half with 9 stops close to principal tourist spots around the Norwegian capital. During the trip on board the open-top double-decker bus, you will enjoy English language recorded commentary about the places you are witnessing.
Essential stops on the route include the Royal Palace, the Opera House, Akershus Fort, Ibsen Museum, and the Parliament building.
How it works
The ticket is valid for 24 or 48 consecutive hours from the moment it is first used. For example, if activated on Monday at 3 pm, it will be valid until Tuesday at 3 pm. During this time, you can get on and off the bus as many times as you want.
When booking, you must select a start day, but you can commence using the service within 3 months from the selected date.
Timetable and frequency
Red line: 10 am to 4:30 pm, every 30 minutes. The total duration of the tour is 90 minutes.
