Enjoy a panoramic bus tour of Norway’s majestic capital followed by a cruise of the city’s port. This is the essential day trip for any Oslo holiday.
Oslo Sightseeing Bus Tour and Port Cruise
We'll meet at 1 Haakon VIIs Gate. From this location, the sightseeing bus tour around Oslo will begin, featuring an English-speaking guide and an audio guide in English. The first stop is at Holmenkollen, where you will have 30 minutes for photos. Next, the tour proceeds to Frogner Park for a 40-minute guided walk through the Vigeland Sculpture Park, highlighting the park's statues by artist Gustav Vigeland.
Following this, we will visit the museum district, Bygdøy, where you will have free time to have lunch and explore the Fram Museum and the Viking Boat Museum.
Finally, the day concludes with a cruise from the City Hall pier around the port of Oslo. This 2-hour boat trip allows for exploration of the islands in the bay, returning to the departure point afterwards.
Languages
Tours on the bus, in the Sculpture Park, and in the museums will be led by a local, certified English-speaking guide. An audio guide system is available on the bus with commentary in Spanish, Italian, French, German, Russian, and Danish.
Norwegian Museum of Cultural History
From October to April, the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History will be closed on Mondays, so we will visit the Kon-Tiki Museum during this period.
