Olive Oil Tasting

We'll meet at the designated time at Masseria Valente for an olive oil tasting. Prepare to learn about the properties of one of the most important products of the Mediterranean diet.

After introductions, we will walk through the facilities of the masseria. During this tour, we will discuss the history of these farms and fortified houses, historically owned by aristocrats and upper classes of Puglia.

Then, we will proceed outdoors to tour the ancient olive trees while enjoying the aromas of the Apulian countryside. We will cover the special olive harvesting process, usage of the mill, and the techniques for extracting this liquid gold of the Mediterranean.

Finally, we will participate in a tasting session of exquisite extra virgin olive oil from Apulia, featuring the different varieties produced at Masseria Valente.

After one hour and ten minutes, we will conclude the session at the entrance of the Masseria.
