Olive Oil Tasting

We will meet at the specified time at Masseria Valente for an olive oil tasting. Participants will learn about the properties of a key product in the Mediterranean diet.

After introductions, we will explore the masseria's facilities, discussing the history of these farms and fortified houses, which were owned by aristocrats and upper classes of Puglia.

Next, we will walk outside to see the ancient olive trees while enjoying the scents of the Apulian countryside. Participants will learn about the olive harvesting process, the mill's usage, and the extraction methods for this liquid gold of the Mediterranean.

It will be time for tasting! Participants will enjoy a tasting session of the exquisite extra virgin olive oil from Apulia, including various types produced at Masseria Valente.

After one hour and ten minutes, we will conclude at the entrance of the Masseria.
