Tour Options

You can choose between the following scuba diving tours in Mahahual. Both include boat transport, a certified English-speaking instructor, scuba diving equipment, snacks, and water.

Scuba Diving with 1 Immersion (2 hours)

Meet at the diving centre at Blue Kay in Mahahual at the specified time to present your scuba diving certificates. After checks, we will board the boat to dive in the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System, the second largest in the world. After instructions and equipment fitting, we will explore up to 6 underwater landscapes in groups of 5. Visibility can reach 25 metres (82 feet) and occasionally 35 metres (114 feet).

Scuba Diving with 2 Immersions (3 hours & 50 minutes)

This option offers 2 immersions for a more extensive experience in the water. We will follow the same boat route with a closer look at marine flora and fauna, with visibility up to 35 metres (114 feet). Expect to see manta rays, crabs, lobsters, barracudas, angelfish, wrasse, damselfish, parrotfish, and butterflyfish. After using the first oxygen tank, we'll switch to the second and dive again.
