Do you want to discover the marine life along the Costa Maya? On this snorkel tour in Mahahual, we'll see sea turtles swimming in the crystal-clear waters.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the diving centre located inside Blue Kay in Mahahual. We will conduct introductions and distribute life jackets and snorkelling equipment.
Once prepared, we'll board the boat, don our life jackets, and depart towards the southern end of Mahuahual, skirting the coast to reach the reef area, protected by a natural dam.
Upon anchoring, we'll enter the water to snorkel in an area with a depth of almost 2 metres (6.5 ft), exploring two zones: the seagrass zone, home to sea turtles, and the coral zone, where we can observe numerous tropical fish, lobsters, squid, and rich marine flora. If fortunate, we may also see thornback stingrays and an eagle ray.
After 1.5 hours, we will conclude the activity back at the original meeting point.
