Xcalak Scuba Diving

If you're an experienced diver looking to explore the Mexican seabed, our Xcalak Scuba Diving activity is ideal. The experience includes diving to a depth of 130 feet.

Xcalak Scuba Diving

On the day of the activity, we will meet at the dive centre located at Km 54 of the Camino Costero 1 hour before your chosen time. The scuba diving activity will begin with a 15-minute theory lesson, after which we will board a boat waiting at the dock in front of the dive centre. We will set sail through the Mexican Caribbean to a marine park featuring coral reefs, mangroves, and various marine ecosystems.

We will scout for diving spots with optimal conditions where marine wildlife can be observed. Possible locations include the Sábalo Pool or the manatee reserve in Chetumal Bay. The chosen site will depend on the weather and sea conditions of the day.

Once a diving spot is selected, we will conduct two dives to a depth of 130 feet (40 meters). Divers can explore the coral gardens and observe different species. Each dive will last between 20 and 30 minutes, depending on the selected location.

The activity concludes with a return to the Xcalak dock by boat, finishing our 2-hour 30-minute session.
