Xcalak Scuba Diving

If you're an experienced diver, our Xcalak Scuba Diving activity is suitable for you. The experience allows for dives up to 130 feet (40 meters).

On the activity day, meet at the dive centre located at Km 54 of the Camino Costero 1 hour before your selected time. The experience starts with a 15-minute theory lesson, after which we'll board a boat waiting at the dock in front of the dive centre.

We will set sail through the Mexican Caribbean to reach a marine park featuring coral reefs, mangroves, and other marine ecosystems. We will identify ideal diving spots that may include Sábalo Pool or the manatee reserve in Chetumal Bay. The location choice will depend on the day's weather and sea conditions.

We will complete two dives at a depth of 130 feet (40 meters), exploring coral gardens and observing various marine species. Each dive will last between 20 and 30 minutes, depending on the specific dive location.

After the dives, we will return to the Xcalak dock by boat, concluding the 2-hour 30-minute activity.
