The Parliament, the Rideau Canal, the ByWard Market... Discover the beauty of the Canadian capital on this free walking tour of Ottawa, a must!

Tour Details

We'll meet at the appointed time next to the National War Memorial to begin this free tour of Ottawa. Our journey begins in downtown Ottawa, exploring areas like the Golden Triangle and Centretown, where we will see iconic buildings. We will admire the exterior of Canada's Parliament and discuss the country's governance alongside its neo-gothic architecture.

Along the way, we will share tales of Canadian legends and lesser-known curiosities. The walking tour includes sites of historic interest such as the iconic Rideau Canal, a World Heritage Site, the historic ByWard Market, and Major's Hill Park, which offers views of the Ottawa River.

After approximately 3 hours, we will return to the starting point and conclude the tour.

Groups

Please note that this free tour does not admit groups of more than six people, even if they book separately. For larger groups, we recommend a private tour of Ottawa.
