Experience the Sahara Desert on a 2-day private adventure from Ouarzazate, including dune exploration, camel rides, and a traditional haima stay.

2-Day Private Desert Tour

Day 1

You will be picked up from your hotel in Ouarzazate and head towards Tinghir along the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs, visiting the Valley of Roses and Dadès Valley. A stop will be made at the Dadès Gorges to see formations like Monkey Fingers Canyon and Todra Gorge. Continue to Merzouga, passing through palm groves before lunch stops in Erfoud. Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will ride a camel across the dunes to your haima for the night, followed by a Moroccan meal.

Day 2

Start the day with a camel ride to witness the sunrise over Erg Chebbi. After breakfast, head to Tafilalet Palm Grove near Rissani, the birthplace of Morocco's Alaouite dynasty. Proceed to Alnif and traverse the Anti-Atlas Mountains, enjoying views of the peaks and Draa Valley. You will cross Tizi N'Tnifift mountain pass before returning to Ouarzazate around 5 pm.

Accommodation

When booking, you can choose between standard and luxury accommodations in the Moroccan desert. All options include double occupancy; triple or family rooms can be arranged. Standard rooms have communal showers, while luxury options offer private bathrooms in the haimas and additional air-conditioning for 30EUR per person.
