Oudtshoorn Night Nature Walk

Join a night walk through the veld of Oudtshoorn, where we will search for nocturnal animals such as scorpions using special UV flashlights. We will meet at a designated location on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn to commence our stroll after sunset, the ideal time to observe nocturnal life in the Klein Karoo valley.

Equipped with ultraviolet flashlights, we will explore the veld, which is characterized by flat landscapes typically covered in grass and low shrubbery found in southern Africa. During the walk, we may encounter scorpions, spiders, frogs, and snakes, so remain vigilant.

A knowledgeable guide will accompany us throughout the experience, ensuring safety as we navigate through the dark. After exploring the moonlit veld, we will return to our starting point to conclude the night tour.
