Aljustrel, Valinhos & Ourém Tour

After picking you up from your hotel in Fátima at the scheduled time, we'll set off to the village of Aljustrel, located just five minutes away.

Arriving in Aljustrel, we will learn about its significance, being the site where three shepherd children witnessed apparitions of the Virgin Mary known as Our Lady of Fátima. Our guide will share the story as we visit the Aljustrel House-Museum and the Arneiro Well.

Next, we’ll proceed to Valinhos, a rural area important for pilgrims where the children grazed their sheep. We will see the Via Crucis of Fátima and the Angel of Peace, learning about its history.

We will then travel by bus to Ourém, a 20-minute journey from Fátima. Here, we will visit the Castelo de Ourém, a medieval fortress of Arab origin featuring impressive defensive fortifications and a palace.

Finally, we will explore the historic centre of the village of Ourém to admire its medieval architecture. At the end of the four-hour tour, we will return you to your hotel in Fátima.
