Aljustrel, Valinhos & Ourém Tour

After picking you up from your hotel in Fátima at the scheduled time, we will set off to the village of Aljustrel, located just five minutes away.

In the historic town, we will explore why it is significant, as it is where three shepherd children witnessed apparitions of the Virgin Mary, known as Our Lady of Fátima. Our guide will share the story during visits to the Aljustrel House-Museum and the Arneiro Well.

We will continue to Valinhos, a rural area where the children grazed sheep and an important site for pilgrims. Here we will see the Via Crucis of Fátima and the Angel of Peace, learning about its history.

Afterwards, we will travel by bus for 20 minutes to Ourém. In Ourém, we will visit the Castelo de Ourém, a medieval fortress of Arab origin with defensive fortifications and a palace.

Finally, we will explore the historic centre of the village of Ourém, admiring its medieval architecture. At the end of the four-hour tour, we will return you to your hotel in Fátima.
