Delve into Portuguese history exploring some of its most fascinating towns on this tour of Batalha, Alcobaça, Nazaré and Óbidos from Fátima.

Batalha, Alcobaça, Nazaré & Óbidos Tour

Having picked you up from your hotel in Fátima, we'll board a minibus and set off on our tour of four of Portugal's most historic sites.

Our first stop will be Batalha, where we'll enter its monastery, recognized for its Gothic and Manueline architecture and designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Next, we continue to Alcobaça, visiting the 12th century Alcobaça Monastery and church, the first Gothic buildings in Portugal. You will have the opportunity to try a pastel de nata before leaving the town.

Afterward, we'll head to the coast and visit Nazaré. We will enter the hilltop Sanctuary of Our Lady of Nazaré to admire its baroque architecture and frescoes. You will have free time for lunch in Nazaré, known for its seafood.

Our final destination will be Óbidos, where we'll walk through its historic centre, viewing the castle. We will conclude the tour with a tasting of the local liqueur known as ginjinha.

At the end of the tour, you'll be dropped off at your hotel in Fátima by 5:30 pm.
