Batalha, Nazaré, Alcobaça & Óbidos (8 hours)
After picking you up from your hotel in Fátima, we will visit the Batalha monastery, a masterpiece of Portuguese Gothic architecture. Next, we head to Alcobaça Monastery, home to the tomb of King Pedro I, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will arrive in Nazaré around midday to visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Nazaré and have free time for lunch before proceeding to Óbidos to explore the medieval buildings and castle, along with a tasting of the local liqueur, ginjinha.
Aljustrel, Valinhos & Ourém (4 hours)
We will pick you up from your hotel in Fátima at the scheduled time and visit the House-Museum in Aljustrel, Arneiro Well, and Valinhos, while our guide shares the story of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima. Lastly, we visit the Castelo de Ourém, a medieval fortress with an intriguing history.
