Batalha, Nazaré, Alcobaça & Óbidos (8 hours)

We will begin by collecting you from your hotel in Fátima and proceed to Batalha, where we will explore the remarkable 14th-century monastery, recognized as a prime example of Gothic architecture in Portugal. Following this visit, we will continue to Alcobaça Monastery, which houses the tomb of King Pedro I of Portugal. You will soon understand why this over 700-year-old site merits its status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site!

At noon, we will arrive in Nazaré, making our way to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Nazaré, a stunning church situated on a hill with panoramic views of the famed surfing destination. After touring the Marian site, you will have some leisure time to enjoy lunch before regrouping to carry on with our adventure to Óbidos. Here, we will wander the charming streets, taking in the medieval architecture and majestic castle, along with savoring a sample of the local liqueur, ginjinha.

Aljustrel, Valinhos & Ourém (4 hours)

We will pick you up from your hotel in Fátima at the established time and venture to some of the region's most revered locations: the House-Museum in Aljustrel, the Arneiro Well, and Valinhos. As we discover these historic landmarks, our guide will share the connections to the narrative of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima.

To conclude the day trip, we will visit the Castelo de Ourém, a striking medieval fortress rich in captivating history.
