Step 1: São João del-Rei

Upon disembarking from the minibus, you'll be transported to the 18th century, the time when São João del-Rei was one of Minas Gerais' largest cities. The visit includes the Tancredo Neves Memorial, housing a collection devoted to the former Brazilian president. You will explore the baroque and rococo styles at the São Francisco de Assis church. Before leaving São João del-Rei, we’ll visit Solar dos Neves, a 19th-century Cultural Heritage site, and then hop aboard the historic Maria Fumaça train for a scenic journey to Tiradentes.

Step 2: Tiradentes

Upon arrival, enjoy free time for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will tour Tiradentes, visiting the Matriz de Santo Antônio church, the municipality's most significant church, and the São José de Botas Fountain. The tour concludes at Largo das Forras Square.

We will return to Ouro Preto by minibus, completing our 12-hour tour, and you will be dropped off at your hotel after experiencing the charm and history of these Brazilian towns.
