Art and nature merge perfectly at the Inhotim Institute. Join us on a day trip to visit this fascinating Brazilian museum, where we will admire the sculptures and tour the Mata Atlântica reserve.

Day Trip to the Inhotim Institute

At 8:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Ouro Preto and drive to Brumadinho, home of the Inhotim Institute. Prepare to explore the largest collection of contemporary art in Brazil.

Following a 2.5-hour drive, we'll arrive and begin a panoramic tour of the Inhotim Institute. On board the minibus, we will explore the main areas of this open-air museum and stop to take pictures of its contemporary artworks.

The institute features a botanical garden with over 4000 floral and arboreal species, spheres in ponds, glass pavilions with scenic views, and design benches by Hugo França. Various surprises await us at Inhotim Institute.

Additionally, we will visit a natural reserve of Mata Atlantica, a neotropical plant formation at risk of extinction. Before departing, there will be one hour of free time for lunch.

We will conclude the excursion at 4:30 pm back at your hotel in Ouro Preto.
