Day Trip to the Inhotim Institute

At 8:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Ouro Preto and drive to Brumadinho, the location of the Inhotim Institute. Prepare to visit the largest collection of contemporary art in Brazil.

After a 2.5-hour drive, we'll arrive and start a panoramic tour of the Inhotim Institute. On board the minibus, we will explore the main areas of this open-air museum and stop to take pictures of contemporary works of art.

We will see a botanical garden with more than 4000 floral and arboreal species, spheres in ponds, glass pavilions with incredible views, and benches created by designer Hugo França. Additionally, we have access to a natural reserve of Mata Atlântica, a preserved neotropical plant formation in danger of extinction. Before leaving, there will be one hour of free time for lunch.

The excursion concludes at 4:30 pm at your hotel in Ouro Preto.
