Day Trip to Tiradentes & Congonhas
At 7 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Ouro Preto and start this excursion to visit two historical cities in the state of Minas Gerais.
The first stop will be in Congonhas, founded in the 17th century. We'll have a guided tour of the old town, exploring places such as the Chapel of the Steps and colonial houses. We'll also visit the History Museum and the Sanctuary of the Good Jesus of Matosinhos, which has European Baroque influences and is a World Heritage Site.
Afterwards, we'll head to Tiradentes, where its colonial buildings reflect a similar history. Here, we will see the old jail, the church of San Antonio, and visit a museum to learn about the city's past. Following the tour, you will have two hours of free time for lunch.
We'll conclude the tour at 5 pm and drop you back at your hotel in Ouro Preto.
