Ouro Preto Hiking Adventure

We'll pick you up from your hotel at the designated time, leaving Ouro Preto behind as we venture to the base of Pico do Itacolomi, located on the border between Ouro Preto and Mariana.

Before embarking on the 14 km (8.7 mi) hike, we'll pause at the Fazenda do Manso, an 18th-century Casa Bandeirista. Here, you'll see the colonial architecture, a remnant of the bandeirantes, explorers who navigated the interior territories of the Americas during colonization.

We will then commence our hike towards Pico do Itacolomi, which stands at 1772 meters (3,845 feet). Be prepared to be captivated by the stunning scenery throughout the trek.

After exploring the captivating landscapes of Itacolomi, we'll take a break to recharge. Once revitalized, we'll begin our return journey to Fazenda do Manso. For those interested, a nearby lagoon is available for a refreshing swim.

We will conclude the eight-hour adventure by returning you to your hotel in Ouro Preto.
