Ouro Preto Hiking Adventure

We'll pick you up from your hotel at the designated time, leaving Ouro Preto behind as we venture to the base of Pico do Itacolomi, located on the border between Ouro Preto and Mariana.

Before we begin the 14 km (8.7 mi) hike, we'll stop at the Fazenda do Manso, an 18th-century Casa Bandeirista. Here, you'll appreciate the colonial architecture associated with the bandeirantes, explorers of the Portuguese empire.

We will then start our hike towards Pico do Itacolomi, which stands at 1772 meters (3,845 feet). The trek offers stunning views throughout the area.

After enjoying the landscapes of Itacolomi, we'll take a break to recharge. Once rested, we'll head back to Fazenda do Manso. For those who want to relax further, a nearby lagoon offers a refreshing swim.

At the end of this eight-hour adventure, we'll return you to your hotel in Ouro Preto.
