Ouro Preto Hiking Adventure

We'll pick you up from your hotel at the designated time and leave Ouro Preto to head to the base of Pico do Itacolomi, which is located on the border between Ouro Preto and Mariana.

Before beginning the 14 km (8.7 mi) hike, we'll stop at Fazenda do Manso, an 18th-century Casa Bandeirista. Here, you'll observe the colonial architecture linked to the bandeirantes, who explored the interior territories of the American continent.

We will then start our hike towards Pico do Itacolomi, which stands at 1772 meters (3,845 feet). During the trek, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the area.

After exploring the landscapes of Itacolomi, we'll take a break to recharge. Once rested, we will return to Fazenda do Manso. For those interested, a nearby lagoon offers an opportunity for a refreshing swim.

At the end of this eight-hour adventure, we will return you to your hotel in Ouro Preto.
