Ouro Preto & Mariana Tour
After picking you up at your hotel at 8:30 am, we'll start a tour of Ouro Preto. We'll first visit the church of San Francisco and explore its chapels. Then, we will proceed to the Carmo church and the Inconfidência Museum, which covers the history of Ouro Preto since its foundation in the 18th century. Our visit will also include the Oratory Museum.
Participants will have an hour and a half of free time for lunch before boarding the minibus to Mariana. There, we will visit Minas Gerais square for a panoramic view of the colonial houses and mountains. The guided tour of Mariana includes visits to the churches of Carmen and San Francisco, the Town Hall, and the exterior of the Pelourinho site, known for historical penalties.
The tour will end at 5:30 pm, after which you will be dropped back at your hotel in Ouro Preto.
