Ouro Preto & Mariana Tour

The tour begins with hotel pickup at 8:30 am. We will start in Ouro Preto, exploring its attractions.

First, we will visit the church of San Francisco, notable for its baroque style crafted by Aleijadinho. Following this, we will proceed to the Carmo church and the Inconfidência Museum, learning about the history of Ouro Preto from its founding in the 18th century as Vila Rica. Before leaving the city, we will visit the Oratory Museum, which houses significant art pieces.

An hour and a half of free time will be allocated for lunch before boarding a minibus to Mariana.

In Mariana, we will visit Minas Gerais square for a panoramic view of the colonial architecture and surrounding mountains.

The guided tour will include visits to the churches of Carmen and San Francisco, the Town Hall, and notable buildings, including the exterior of the Pelourinho, a site of historical penalties during colonial times.
