Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we will pick you up from the meeting point and travel by minibus to Covadonga, a notable location in Asturias, with a maximum group size of 8 people. Our first destination is Ercina Lake in the Picos de Europa National Park, where we can easily access views without extensive walking. We will stop at the Entrelagos viewpoint for scenic views of the lakes and surrounding landscapes.

Next, we will visit the Holy Cave of Covadonga, housing the image of La Santina and remnants of Don Pelayo, the first king of the Asturian monarchy. Following this, we will explore the Basilica of Santa María la Real, a representation of neo-Romanesque architecture in Spain.

We will then head to Cangas de Onis, where you will have an hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, we will visit the Roman Bridge and the Santa Cruz chapel. The tour will conclude with our return to the meeting point after approximately 8 hours.
