Activity Details
We begin our journey at 10:30 am by convening in front of the Las Caldas Health Center. Located on the edge of Oviedo, we'll provide life jackets, paddles, and a waterproof barrel for each canoe to keep your personal items secure.
Your guide will deliver a brief yet informative session on both safety and practical techniques to ensure you enjoy the experience fully. Once prepared, we'll embark on our excursion along the Nalón River. Prepare for an exhilarating ride!
Throughout the adventure, anticipate thrilling rapids, slides, wave sections, and also serene stretches of water. It is essential to heed your instructor's directions, as they will identify the safest areas for paddling.
As we navigate between challenging and calm segments, take the opportunity to observe wild birds and appreciate the stunning natural scenery characteristic of this region in Asturias.
The canoeing experience concludes at approximately 1:30 pm in the town of Trubia. From there, a minibus will transport you back to the starting point, where you'll have access to changing facilities at the Las Caldas Municipal Swimming Pool.
