Tour Details
On the tour day, pickup will be at the designated meeting point, followed by an exploration of picturesque villages in Somiedo Natural Park. The first stop is Alto de la Farrapona, where a scenic walk will lead to the Cave Lake, visiting hidden corners for about an hour. Afterward, we will visit the Somiedo Ecomuseum to learn about the region's rural way of life and traditions.
Next, we’ll head to Pola de Somiedo, noted by explorer Joseph Townsend in his book A Journey Through Spain in the Time of Charles III. Here, you will have free time for lunch and to explore the town. Lastly, we will visit Santa María del Puerto, a village in the Cantabrian Mountains, known for its captivating landscapes.
The tour concludes with our return to the minibus, arriving back at the meeting point between 10 and 11 hours after departure.
