Oxford Harry Potter Experience
I hereby declare that I am up to no good!
Our journey commences at Broad Street, where we will kick off the Harry Potter exploration of Oxford. As we stroll through the city, we will encounter various settings from one of history's most cherished wizarding tales - prepare for a thrilling adventure!
Did you know that the Hogwarts abbey is situated at New College? This esteemed institution, founded in the 14th century, will welcome us to the spot where Mad-Eye Moody transformed Draco Malfoy into a ferret in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Next, our Oxford expedition leads us to the Divinity School. Here, we'll step into the Hogwarts Infirmary, managed by Madame Poppy Pomfrey. Reflect upon the iconic scenes from the Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone film and visualize the hospital beds where young Harry recuperated following his fateful encounter with Voldemort.
Following this, we will venture outside Oxford University, known for its own Quidditch league. We will examine the connections between Hogwarts and the university by observing the exterior of the Bodleian Library, one of the oldest libraries in Europe.
Throughout our tour, we will also pay tribute to other films and series that take inspiration from Oxford. Notable mentions include Alice in Wonderland, The Hobbit, and Lord of the Rings.
After an hour and a half of exploration, we will conclude our adventure by returning to our starting point. Mischief managed!
