Explore a historic and beautiful city on our Oxford Walking Tour. We'll stroll around the outsides of the magnificent buildings that make up the University of Oxford, which is one of the world's most prestigious universities.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Carfax Tower, located along Queen St, in the heart of the city centre, to begin our walking tour of Oxford.

We will start at Carfax Tower, a significant landmark from the 13th century, originally part of St Martin's Church. Next, we'll walk to the replica of the Bridge of Sighs in Venice, which connects buildings of Herford College. We will visit the exterior of the Bodleian Bookshop, Radcliffe Camera, and St. Mary the Virgin Church at Radcliffe Square.

Additionally, we will see Christ Church College, known for its collection of over 300 paintings by artists like Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. This site is also notable for its connections to the Harry Potter films.

As we explore, we will share facts about the university, including admission requirements and famous alumni. We will conclude our 45-minute tour at Broad Meadow, a public space, before returning to the starting point.
