Oxford University Guided Tour

At the appointed time we'll meet at 15 Broad Street, inside the Oxford Tourist Information Centre, to start a tour around Oxford University, one of the oldest universities in the world.

Although the exact date of the founding of Oxford University is not known, we will explore the historical context, including the ban imposed by Henry II that led to the establishment of Oxford University.

During the guided tour, we'll visit the exteriors of notable colleges, including Balliol College, All Souls College, Trinity College, Oriel College, and Merton College. The age of these colleges will be discussed. We'll see St Mary's Gothic Church and explore the Bodleian Library.

Finally, we will visit one of the oldest colleges, such as Brasenose College or New College, the latter being a filming location for Harry Potter. After a two-hour tour of Oxford University, we will return to the starting point to conclude the guided tour.
