Guided Tour of Oxford University

We'll convene at 15 Broad Street, within the Oxford Tourist Information Centre, where our journey through Oxford University, recognized as one of the world’s oldest universities, will begin.

Although the precise year of Oxford University’s establishment remains uncertain, we will uncover the historical events that prompted Henry II of England to prevent English students from enrolling at the University of Paris, ultimately leading to the development of Oxford University.

During our informative tour, we will stroll past the impressive facades of several notable colleges, including Balliol College, All Souls College, Trinity College, Oriel College, and Merton College. We will also discover which of these has the distinction of being the oldest. Our exploration will take us to the magnificent chapel of St Mary's Gothic Church and the renowned Bodleian Library.

To enrich the experience, our visit will include one of the university's historical colleges, such as Brasenose College or New College, the latter being a filming location for Harry Potter! After this two-hour journey through the heart of Oxford University, we will return to our starting point and conclude the tour.
