Archaeological Site of Tula Day Trip
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Pachuca and head to the municipality of Tula de Allende, home to the Archaeological Site of Tula.
The city was the capital of the Toltec state, originally named Tollan-Xicocotitlan, later known as 'Tula' after Spanish colonization.
During the tour, we will explore key aspects of Toltec culture and learn about stories from the chronicles, including the conflict between Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca for control of the city.
As we explore the ruins, we'll visit the Burnt Palace and the Pyramid of Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli. At the pyramid, we will encounter the Atlantes of Tula, four large anthropomorphic figures symbolizing Toltec warriors.
After 7 hours of history and archaeology, we'll return to Pachuca and drop you off at your hotel.
