Discover two of Mexico's famous Magic Towns and their traditions on our day trip to Huasca de Ocampo and Mineral del Monte. You'll also attend a pottery workshop.

Huasca de Ocampo & Mineral del Monte Day Trip

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Pachuca for a day trip to iconic locations in Hidalgo.

First, we'll visit Huasca de Ocampo, known for its traditional pottery. At a craftsman's workshop, you'll learn how clay is molded and make your own piece of pottery using your feet.

Next, we'll see the Basaltic Prisms, a unique hexagonal geological formation. Then, we'll visit the Casa del Rompope for a tasting of rompope, a liqueur made from eggs, milk, and vanilla.

After that, we'll head to another Pueblo Mágico, Mineral del Monte, a traditional mining town. We'll discuss the history of the Count of Regla and the English settlers from the 19th century as we explore the town and its British influences.

Following your own lunch, we'll visit the Pasty Museum, a traditional local food with origins in England. Lastly, we'll go to the English Pantheon to see the tomb of Richard Bell, a notable circus clown.

We'll return to Pachuca and drop you off at your hotel 9 hours after the pickup.
