Description
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Paphos and proceed to our destination, with a stop at Choirokitia for refreshments.
We will cross the Green Line and arrive at the monastery of St. Barnabas. Here, we'll visit the museum housing valuable icons and relics, and see the tomb of St. Barnabas.
Next, we'll explore the ruins of Salamis, featuring the amphitheater and gymnasium, before continuing to Famagusta.
In Famagusta, we will walk around its Venetian-era walls, observing the Gothic architecture of religious temples, including the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, built in 1312 and later converted into a mosque. You will then have free time to have lunch and shop.
