Geroskipou + Letymvou Tour

Description

At the designated time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Paphos to commence the tour of Geroskipou and Letymvou. Our first stop will be Geroskipou, where we will visit a pottery shop, showcasing the ancient craft of Cyprus.

Next, we will proceed to the town square to see the Agia Paraskevi Church, constructed in the 9th century with 5 domes. It is believed to be the site of Aphrodite's Temple. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to try loukoumias, a traditional Turkish treat from the area.

We will then travel to the small town of Letymvou to visit a Cypriot house, that of Sophia. Here, you will learn about the interior decorations and traditional clothing. Sophia will demonstrate cooking bread in a clay oven and preparing local items like Halloumi cheese. A breakfast will also be served.

After the meal, we will visit Paphos Old Market in the Old Town “Agora.” You can explore various boutiques and stalls for clothing and accessories, and stroll through alleys featuring artisanal shops, captivating views, and cafes.

Finally, after 6 hours, we will return to your hotel to conclude the tour.
