Troodos, Kykkos + Omodos Day Trip

We will pick you up from your hotel in Paphos to begin our day trip to Troodos, Kykkos and Omodos.

The first stop is the Troodos Mountains, where we will visit the Chrysorrogiatissa Monastery, notable for its 12th-century architecture.

Continuing, we will enjoy the scenic views of the Troodos Mountains and vineyards known for producing Cyprus's finest white wines since the late 18th century, such as Ayios Andronicos and Ayios Elias. We will also see the serene Kannaviou dam.

Next, we will travel through the Paphos forest to Kykkos, where a guided visit to the Kykkos Monastery includes the tomb of Archbishop Makarios III and details of his significance.

We will then proceed to the Timios Stravos Monastery, famous for its 25-meter (82 feet) high cross and panoramic views of the Marathassa Valley. You will have free time to enjoy lunch and admire the surrounding vistas.

Next, we will head to Omodos, passing through a pine forest, Prodromos, the highest village in Cyprus, and Platres, a popular tourist area.

In Omodos, we will walk on cobblestone streets to the main square with cafes and shops, culminating our visit at the Church of the Holy Cross.

After 8 hours of exploration, we will return to your hotel.
