On this day trip to Troodos, Kykkos, and Omodos from Paphos, we'll explore 12th-century monasteries, traverse vast valleys, and wander through lush forests.

Troodos, Kykkos + Omodos Day Trip

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Paphos to set off on our day trip to Troodos, Kykkos and Omodos.

Our first stop is at the Troodos Mountains, where we will visit the Chrysorrogiatissa Monastery. This site dates back to the 12th century and features unique architecture.

As we continue, enjoy the scenery of the Troodos Mountains, which host vineyards known for producing some of Cyprus's finest white wines since the late 18th century, including Ayios Andronicos and Ayios Elias varieties. Look for the Kannaviou dam in the valley.

Next, we will visit Kykkos and the Kykkos Monastery. Here, we'll discuss the history of the monastery and visit the tomb of Archbishop Makarios III.

We will then head to the Timios Stravos Monastery, known for its 25-meter (82 feet) high cross offering panoramic views of the Marathassa Valley. You'll have free time for lunch and to enjoy the views.

Next, we proceed to Omodos, passing through a pine forest, Prodromos (the highest village in Cyprus), and Platres (a tourist-friendly village).

In Omodos, we will explore cobblestone streets and visit the main square with cafes and shops, concluding at the Church of the Holy Cross.

After 8 hours of exploration, we will return to your hotel.
