Troodos, Kykkos + Omodos Day Trip

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Paphos to set off on our day trip to Troodos, Kykkos and Omodos.

Our first stop is at the Troodos Mountains, where we'll visit the Chrysorrogiatissa Monastery, originating from the 12th century, known for its architectural style.

Continuing, take in the scenery of the Troodos Mountains, featuring vineyards producing some of Cyprus's finest white wines since the late 18th century, including Ayios Andronicos and Ayios Elias varieties. Look for the Kannaviou dam in the valley.

Next is Kykkos. We will pass through the Paphos forest to reach the Kykkos Monastery, where we'll discuss its history and the tomb of Archbishop Makarios III.

We will proceed to the Timios Stravos Monastery, noted for its 25-meter (82 feet) high cross with views of the Marathassa Valley. Here you'll have time for lunch and to enjoy the surrounding vistas.

Next, we head to Omodos, traveling through a pine forest, passing Prodromos and Platres.

Upon arrival in Omodos, we'll explore the cobblestone streets and visit the Church of the Holy Cross. After an 8-hour exploration, we'll return you to your hotel.
