Paddle your way along Lake Powell on a guided kayaking tour and experience the natural beauty of the area.
Tour Highlights
Meet at the Antelope Point Launch Ramp for a guided kayaking tour of Lake Powell, a man-made reservoir on the Colorado River.
After an introduction to proper paddling techniques, participants will gear up and get into kayaks. First-time kayakers will receive guidance from a knowledgeable instructor, and the calm waters of the lake facilitate easy paddling.
Equipped with life jackets and paddles, the tour will head towards Water Antelope Canyon, accessible only by water. This area features light channels through red stone rock towers that create a unique ambiance.
During the route, several stops will be made for photography of the dramatic red cliffs and to learn about the history of the landscape. Participants should watch for freshwater wildlife in the lake's ecosystem.
The tour will return to the launch point, allowing for additional photos along the way. The experience lasts for 3.5 hours.
