Tour Highlights

We'll meet at the designated time at the Antelope Point Launch Ramp for a guided kayaking tour of Lake Powell, a man-made reservoir on the Colorado River.

After a quick introduction to proper paddling techniques, we'll gear up and enter our kayaks. First-time kayakers will receive guidance on the basics. The lake's calm waters facilitate easy kayaking.

Equipped with life jackets and paddles, we'll launch onto the lake towards Water Antelope Canyon, accessible only by water. We'll be captivated by the light channels through the red stone rock towers enhancing the area’s ambiance.

During the route, we'll make several stops for pictures of the dramatic red cliffs and to learn about the history of this landscape. Participants should look for the freshwater wildlife thriving in the lake's ecosystem.

We'll begin our return to the launch point, taking more pictures along the way. The tour lasts approximately 3.5 hours.
