Want to visit one of the most famous natural landmarks in the Arizona desert? On this hiking route through Lower Antelope Canyon, we'll walk through the lower part of this breathtaking gorge.
Tour Details
At the appointed time, we'll meet at Indian Route 222 Page to begin a hiking trail that will take us to discover the lower part of this impressive natural monument.
We'll walk for 10 minutes until we reach the entrance to Lower Antelope Canyon, the narrowest area of this geological formation located in Navajo territory.
Wandering between huge sandstone walls, we'll explain how this place has been shaped over millions of years by wind and water acting on the rocks.
We'll continue on a hiking route extending 1.1 miles (1.5 km) to admire the canyon's twists and turns with stone walls reaching up to 130 feet (40 m) in height. This lower area of Lower Antelope Canyon allows for excellent photography due to its light conditions.
After an hour of hiking, we'll conclude the activity back at the starting point, ending the tour after approximately 1.5 hours.
