Balapitiya and Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery Private Trip
At 8:30 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Bentota to set off for Balapitiya, located 9 miles away.
Upon arrival, we will board a boat for a three-and-a-half hour trip on the Madu River. As we navigate through the mangrove landscapes, we will explore this complex ecosystem of wetlands, designated a World Heritage Site.
Next, we will stop at a traditional restaurant in the area for a meal before continuing to Kosgoda.
At the Kosgoda turtle farm, you will learn about various species of sea turtles in the conservation project, observing them before their release into the sea.
Finally, we will return you to your hotel in Bentota by 6:30 pm.
