Balapitiya and Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery Private Trip

At 8:30 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Bentota and set off for Balapitiya, just 9 miles away.

Upon arrival, we will board a boat for a three-and-a-half hour trip on the Madu River. During this journey through the mangrove landscapes, we will explore this complex ecosystem of wetlands, designated as a World Heritage Site.

We will make a stop for lunch at a traditional restaurant in the area before continuing to Kosgoda.

If you are interested in sea turtles, this is an opportunity to learn about these amphibians at the Kosgoda turtle farm conservation project. You will see different species of sea turtles before their release into the sea.

Finally, we will return to your hotel in Bentota, arriving at 6:30 pm.
