Balapitiya and Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery Private Trip

At 8:30 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Bentota and set off for Balapitiya, just 9 miles away.

Once there, we will board a boat for a three-and-a-half hour trip on the Madu River. While sailing through the mangrove landscapes, we will explore this complex ecosystem of wetlands, designated as a World Heritage Site.

We will then stop for lunch at one of the traditional restaurants in the area before heading to Kosgoda.

If you are interested in sea turtles, this is an opportunity to learn more about these amphibians at the conservation project of the Kosgoda turtle farm. You will see different species of sea turtles before their release into the sea.

Finally, we will return you to your hotel in Bentota, arriving at 6:30 pm.
