Balapitiya and Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery Private Trip

At 8:30 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Bentota, from where we will set off for Balapitiya, just 9 miles.

Once there, we will board a boat for a three-and-a-half hour trip on the Madu River. While we sail through beautiful mangrove landscapes, we will discover this complex ecosystem of wetlands which has been declared a World Heritage Site.

We will then make a stop for you to eat in one of the traditional restaurants in the area before heading to Kosgoda.

If you are interested in sea turtles, this is an opportunity to learn more at the conservation project of the Kosgoda turtle farm. You will see different species of sea turtles before their release into the sea.

Finally, we will return to your hotel in Bentota, arriving at 6:30 pm.
