Horseback Riding in Cochiguaz

In this horseback riding activity through Cochiguaz, participants will explore the inland area of Chile and its Andean landscapes. There is an option to swim in a river.

Horse Riding in Cochiguaz

At the designated time, we will meet on O'Higgins street in Pisco Elqui and head south through the Elqui river valley.

After a 30-minute ride, we will arrive at the village of Cochiguaz for a 2-hour horseback ride. The equestrian route will showcase stunning landscapes where the Andean mountain range meets local riverbeds.

The tour begins in Cochiguaz, allowing participants to enjoy the deeply peaceful nature in the interior of Chile. The area is tranquil, offering a serene experience in these southern regions.

Following the ride, we will take a break by the Cochiguaz River for a light picnic with nuts, fruit, biscuits, and fresh juice. After the break, we will cross the riverbed and ride back to the starting point of the equestrian route in Cochiguaz.

We will then return to the meeting point in Pisco Elqui, completing a total of 4 hours of activity.
