Tour Overview
This experience consists of two main segments. To begin, we will embark on a 3-hour private walking tour in Palazzolo Acreide. Our adventure kicks off at Via Teatro Greco 8, where we will take in the ancient ruins of the Greek theatre of Akrai.
Next, we will navigate to the heart of Palazzolo Acreide, where the impressive baroque façade of the Basilica of San Sebastiano awaits your admiration. As we stroll through the historical district, we will pass by Palazzo Lombardo and visit the Basilica of San Paolo, a remarkable example of architecture that is bound to leave a lasting impression.
After exploring the charming streets of Palazzolo Acreide, you will enjoy a 1.5-hour break for lunch. Following your meal, we will reconvene in the town center to head towards Noto. The travel to this stunning town will be conducted in your own vehicle, trailing the guide's car.
After approximately 30 minutes on the road, we will arrive in Noto, known as one of the masterpieces of Sicilian baroque. Once there, we will stroll along Corso Vittorio Emanuele III, where you will encounter the Porta Reale and the stunning church of San Francesco d'Assisi all'Immacolata.
Our private exploration of Noto will proceed to Piazza del Duomo, where you can admire the exquisite façades of the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, the Church of Santa Chiara, and Palazzo Ducezio, the present-day Town Hall.
