On this private tour of Palazzolo Acreide, you'll explore one of the most beautiful towns in the south of Sicily and visit the town of Noto, known for its baroque architecture, following the guide's vehicle in your own car.

Tour Details

This activity is divided into 2 parts. Firstly, a 3-hour private walking tour of Palazzolo Acreide begins at Via Teatro Greco 8, where you will view the ruins of the Greek theatre of Akrai.

Next, you will proceed to the historical centre to admire the baroque façade of the Basilica of San Sebastiano and continue through the old town past Palazzo Lombardo and the Basilica of San Paolo. After this exploration, you'll have 1.5 hours of free time for lunch before regrouping in the town center to travel to Noto.

After a 30-minute drive, we will arrive in Noto. You will walk along Corso Vittorio Emanuele III to see the Porta Reale and the church of San Francesco d'Assisi all'Immacolata. The tour continues in Piazza del Duomo, viewing the façades of the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, the Church of Santa Chiara, and Palazzo Ducezio.

The tour concludes at the Tina di Lorenzo Theatre, with a total duration of 8 hours.
