On this private tour of Palazzolo Acreide, you'll explore the town of Noto, famous for its Sicilian baroque architecture, following the guide's vehicle in your own car.
Tour Details
The activity comprises two parts. First, a 3-hour private walking tour of Palazzolo Acreide begins at Via Teatro Greco 8 with a visit to the Greek theatre of Akrai.
Next, the tour proceeds to the historical center to see the baroque façade of the Basilica of San Sebastiano. The route includes Palazzo Lombardo and the Basilica of San Paolo.
After the walking tour, you'll have 1.5 hours of free time for lunch. After lunch, we will reconvene in the town center to travel to Noto in your own car.
The drive to Noto takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival, we will walk along Corso Vittorio Emanuele III, passing by the Porta Reale and the church of San Francesco d'Assisi all'Immacolata.
The tour in Noto continues at Piazza del Duomo, where you'll see the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, the Church of Santa Chiara, and Palazzo Ducezio.
The tour concludes at the Tina di Lorenzo Theatre. The entire tour lasts a total of 8 hours.
