Agua Azul + Misol-Há Day Trip

The waterfalls of Agua Azul and Misol-Há are essential visits while in Palenque. This tour allows exploration of these waterfalls and the Chiapas region.

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, pick-up will occur at your hotel in Palenque for travel to the Misol-Há waterfall, located 20 kilometres (12.4 miles) away.

This waterfall, standing over 30 metres high (98 feet), is situated in a natural paradise. Participants will take a walk around Misol-Há and learn about community efforts to preserve local flora and fauna. A passageway through the limestone grotto behind the waterfall will also be accessible for exploration and photography.

Following the visit to Misol-Há, the tour proceeds to the Agua Azul waterfalls, a Special Biosphere Reserve known for its intense turquoise waters due to carbonate salts.

Upon arrival at Agua Azul, participants will have 2.5 hours to enjoy the site, which includes the opportunity to swim in its pools and relax amid unique natural scenery. Lunch will also be available.

The trip concludes with a return to your hotel in Palenque, totaling an 8-hour experience.
