The waterfalls of Agua Azul and Misol-Há are must-sees if you're in Palenque. On this tour, you can visit these waterfalls and discover the beauty of the Chiapas region.

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Palenque and travel to the Misol-Há waterfall, located 20 kilometres (12.4 miles) away.

This waterfall, over 30 metres high (98 feet), is situated in a natural setting. We'll enjoy a walk around Misol-Há and learn about the community's efforts to preserve the area’s flora and fauna. A passageway through the limestone grotto behind the waterfall curtain is also available for exploration.

After Misol-Há, we'll proceed to the waterfalls of Agua Azul, part of a Special Biosphere Reserve known for its intense turquoise waters caused by carbonate salts.

Upon arrival, you will have 2.5 hours to explore Agua Azul, where swimming in its pools is encouraged, and a delicious lunch option will be available to help re-energize. Enjoy!

We will conclude the day trip by returning to your hotel in Palenque, lasting a total of 8 hours.
