Aluxes Ecopark Trip

After picking you up at 9 am from your hotel in Palenque, we'll take you to the Aluxes Ecopark, a rescue centre for the fauna and flora of Chiapas.

We will enter a man-made jungle with over 10,000 species of trees, rehabilitated wetlands, and a system of lagoons. First, we will visit the manatees and have the opportunity to feed these marine animals.

Next, we will climb a 25-metre-tall tower to observe the various bird species in the park, including the scarlet macaw. You will also get a view of the Mayan archaeological site of Palenque.

Around 2 pm, you will have an hour for lunch. Afterward, we will visit the crocodile area to see these predators up close and feed them safely.

We will conclude with a night tour through the jungle to experience the sounds of Mexican nature. This two-hour tour may include sightings of monkeys, turtles, anteaters, and possibly the jaguar, along with the unique phenomenon of fluorescent mushrooms. Keep your camera ready!

We will return to your hotel in Palenque by 9 pm.
