We'll pick you up at the indicated time from your hotel in Palenque to take you to the Aluxes Ecopark, a rescue centre for the fauna and flora of Chiapas.

Upon arrival, we'll enter a man-made jungle featuring over 10,000 tree species, rehabilitated wetlands, and a new lagoon system. During the tour, we'll climb a 25 m (82 ft) high tower to spot various birds, especially the scarlet macaw. In the distance, the Mayan archaeological remains of Palenque can be seen.

We'll observe monkeys, turtles, anteaters, and the jaguar, the largest feline in America and a sacred symbol in Mayan culture.

Next, we'll visit the manatees in their lagoon and learn about these large freshwater creatures, historically mistaken for mermaids.

We'll also explore the crocodile area and regions inhabited by spider monkeys and howler monkeys. The Aluxes Ecopark is home to numerous reptiles, amphibians, and birds.

Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Palenque, concluding our adventure after a total of 2 hours.
