Rafting in the Lacanjá River

Pickup from your hotel in Palenque begins at 5:30 am, followed by a bus ride to a campsite near the Lacanjá River. A stop will be made for a buffet breakfast featuring eggs, beans, chilaquiles, and seasonal fruit.

Upon arrival, you will receive all necessary equipment and walk to the banks of the Lacanjá River. Expert instructors will ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

At the river, known as the "green water snake," participants will embark on rafts to navigate through numerous waterfalls and backwaters, enjoying views of the thick vegetation of the Montes Azules Biosphere Reserve.

After rafting, a 2-hour walk in the jungle will allow for exploration of local flora and fauna. A typical lunch of grilled chicken, quesadillas with salad, or a Mexican steak will be served at the camp.

Finally, a bus will return you to your hotel in Palenque, arriving around 8 pm.
