Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll meet in front of the Palermo Centrale railway station. From here, we'll take a train to Cefal, starting our day trip.
Upon arrival, we will explore the city's heart, starting with the majestic Cathedral of Cefal and its Norman facade, highlighting the stunning Byzantine mosaics. The iconic Christ Pantokrator stands out among the mosaics.
We will then visit La Rocca, a large rock formation, before descending to Cefal's lively promenade. Afterwards, we will go to the Mandralisca Museum, where we will explore local history through archaeological findings, art pieces, and paintings.
In the historic center, we will stop at the Medieval Wash-House, which illustrates past daily life. We will also visit the Church of Santa Maria Dell'Odigitria and Porta Pescara, remnants of Cefalù's medieval fortifications.
Before concluding the tour, you will have free time for lunch at a local restaurant of your choice.
After 6 hours, we will return to Palermo.
