Day Trip to Cefalú

Join us on this day trip to Cefal from Palermo. Discover the history, natural beauty, and charm of this coastal gem of northern Sicily.

Tour Details

We will meet at the designated time in front of the Chiesa di San Giuseppe Cafasso and then board a minibus to Cefal, starting our day trip.

Upon arrival, we will explore the city center and visit the Cathedral of Cefal to admire its Norman facade and stunning Byzantine mosaics. The Christ Pantokrator is a main highlight.

Next, we will ascend to La Rocca, a rock formation overlooking the city, before descending to Cefal's lively promenade. We will also visit the Mandralisca Museum to learn about local history through archaeological findings and art.

In the historic center, we'll stop by the Medieval Wash-House and see the Church of Santa Maria Dell'Odigitria and Porta Pescara, remnants of medieval fortifications.

Before concluding the tour, participants will have free time to have lunch at a local restaurant of their choice.

After 6 hours, we will return to Palermo.
