Royal Palace + Palatine Chapel Tour

Meet us at the Piazza del Parlamento to start our guided tour of the Royal Palace of the Normans and the Palatine Chapel of Palermo. Our first stop is the Palazzo dei Normanni, dating back to the 12th century, which served as the official residence for the kings of Sicily. During the visit, we will discuss the monarchs who have passed through here and the reforms made during Spanish rule.

As we walk through the halls of the Royal Palace, we will share facts about this site. The most anticipated moment arrives with the entrance to the Palatine Chapel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, showcasing a wealth of Arab-Norman art. The interior features numerous golden mosaics depicting various religious scenes and figures. Remember to bring your camera for this tour.

After 1.5 hours, we will return to the starting point, concluding our tour.
