Palermo Free Tour
We'll meet at the Sant'Ignazio all'Olivella Church entrance in the district of Champagneria and head towards Piazza Verdi, home to the Teatro Massimo, one of the largest theatres in Europe.
Next, we will visit the Galleria delle Vittorie, an ancient commercial area from 1935, and then Quattro Canti, the octagonal square famous for its photogenic views located at the intersection of Via Maqueda and Via Vittorio Emanuele.
We will continue to Piazza Bellini to see the church of Santa Maria dell'Ammiraglio, known as La Martorana, showcasing various architectural styles reflecting Palermo's eclectic nature.
Our route includes Corso Vittorio Emanuele, where the Cathedral of Palermo is located, built in 1184 over a site previously occupied by a mosque. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an important monument in the city.
The tour lasts for 2 hours and concludes at this point.
