At the designated time, we'll meet in front of the Church of Saint Ignatius in the square of the same name. From there, we'll start our tour, visiting the best markets of Palermo!

After introductions, we'll walk to our first stop. Each of the four historic districts of Palermo has its own market street, with the most popular being Vucciria, Capo, and Ballarò, which we will visit.

Throughout the tour, we'll discuss the cultural and traditional significance of Palermo's markets. You'll observe the street vendors, or abbannìano, promoting their goods.

As we see the food on display, you'll be invited to taste local delicacies, including panelle, crocchè, sfincione, and arancina. For dessert, we’ll sample the Sicilian cannolo or possibly ice cream, paired with Sicilian wine.
