On this tour from the south of Mallorca, we'll explore the Drach Caves, sail its underground lake, visit the beautiful coastal town of Porto Cristo, and discover how Mallorcan pearls are made.
Drach Caves Day Trip
We'll pick you up at the designated time at a point close to your hotel in the south of Mallorca to head to the towns of Manacor and Porto Cristo, located on the east coast of the island.
The tour begins with a visit to the Drach Caves, descending about 1,200 meters (3937 feet), observing impressive stalactites and stalagmites. The tour includes Lake Martel, one of the largest underground lakes, where you can experience the Moragues Dome, known for its natural acoustics. Enjoy a classical music performance staged on the lake, followed by a gondola ride across the water.
After the caves, we'll visit the Perlas Majórica pearl shop and museum to learn about the pearl-making process, which has been ongoing for over 100 years.
To complete our tour, we will visit the nearby town of Porto Cristo, where you will have 1 hour to enjoy Balearic gastronomy. The total duration of the tour is 8 hours.
