Genova Caves Ticket
The Genova district, located in the westernmost district of Palma de Mallorca, is home to significant prehistoric caves featuring a variety of stalactites and stalagmites formed by water drops. This ticket allows you to learn about the caves, which were discovered in 1906. Since then, geologists have explored their underground galleries, which once served as a refuge for hominid ancestors.
After reopening to the public in 2017, various domes, columns, and stone tunnels formed by water can now be appreciated during the visit. The caves are illuminated in bright colours to highlight the contrast with the rock tones. The duration of the visit to the caves will last between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on the group size.
Timetable
The caves are open from Monday to Sunday, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
