Discover one of the most picturesque towns on the Costa Brava on our free walking tour of Pals. It'll be like traveling to the Middle Ages!
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at the Ca la Pruna Cultural Center to begin this free tour of Pals, one of the beautiful villages on the Costa Brava. First, we'll cross the Calle Mayor and Plaza Mayor until we reach the Church of Sant Pere. In front of this Romanesque building, we'll learn about its construction using stones from the castle.
Next, we'll see the Tower of the Hours, the only remaining part of the 11th-century castle that was destroyed in the 15th century. From there, we'll walk toward the Josep Pla viewpoint, one of the highest points in the town. Here, we will enjoy views of the Baix Empordà region and the Pyrenees. After taking pictures, we'll head to the Paseo Archaeological, a promenade where you can admire well-preserved parts of the medieval wall.
After 1.5 hours, we'll say our goodbyes at the starting point.
