On this tour you will discover the history of San Fermin, one of the most famous festivals in Spain. You'll see the Running of the Bulls and learn exactly how this local holiday is celebrated each July 7 in Pamplona.

Running of the Bulls Tour

On July 7 for San Fermin, we will meet at 9:30 am on Calle Dos de Mayo in Pamplona. The tour will explore key aspects of the famous celebration. We will discuss the history of the patron saint of Navarra, the origins of the festival, and its appeal to attendees, including Ernest Hemingway.

The tour will visit significant locations in Pamplona linked to San Fermin, including the Gas Corrals and the story behind the Troupe of Giants and Bigheads. We will learn why the townspeople dress in red and white during the event.

We will also stop at the corrals of Santo Domingo, where the Running of the Bulls begins, and trace the route taken by the runners, highlighting key points along the way.

At the end of the tour, we will gather at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, site of the Chupinazo on June 6, and pass by Plaza del Castillo and Café Iruña, noted by Hemingway in his novel Fiesta.

We will conclude the tour at 11 am with the traditional festival song, Pobre de Mí.
